Why the heck would anyone use anything else?

1) NVIDIA is supported out of the box and works perfectly.
2) Wake from suspend works consistently.
3) Unlike Fedora, waking from sleep won't maximize brightness before
turning off the backlight entirely.
4) Unlike Ubuntu-based distributions like Pop!_OS, opening up an
application doesn't momentarily freeze the computer.

Seriously, does anyone know of an issue with this distribution? I can't
yet find one.

Manjaro is pointless. Just use arch.

As it is, Manjaro is robust and user-friendly. Arch makes no guarantee
to its stability and is anything but friendly to the user.

You have that backwards. Your Manjaro is far more likely to break than arch.
And user friendly? What does that even mean?

It means it's easier to install and maintain. I have zero problems with
Linux Mint and I can install it and upgrade it in 20 minutes.

Well, Manjaro is perfect so far. If you like Arch, that's fine by me.
I'll stick to what works until it gives me trouble.

I'm too lazy.

I never used it. But then I don't have your issues with Linux Mint. (And I
don't have computer with a NVIDIA GPU that I still use regularly.)

But I'm downloading the Cinnamon version of Manjaro now. I'll see what I
think of it and report back.

I did try Manjaro in the past — now I remember why my trial was short. No
joe editor available. That's usually the first thing I install in Linux
Mint. Not available anywhere under Manjaro even in the "AUR" (whatever that
is). So another very short trial run.

No joe, no go.

So joe is in Arch but not Manjaro? I enabled AUR in Manjaro, but joe didn't
pop up. Maybe there's more to it than that?
