I can confirm it's not available. It still shows up in the store, but
the Get button is disabled. It had a lot of 4- and 5-star reviews.

They added the "AI Image Creator" to Paint, but it requires a MS account
to use. bogus.

There is an irony in DFS repeatedly assailing the M$ account thing,
but yet putting up with Winblows' more generalized shittiness. He
cares so much about the Wintendoware he runs under it, that he'll
accept the unbelievably bad design.

I'll admit opening more than 60 emails at once seems a bit excessive but
it's good to see you can still blow out the system resources. I remember
that from Windows Me before I euthanized it with Mandrake Linux.

It's hard to get me to open one, much less 60, then again I'm not

No fear. I doubt any GuhNoo idiots use Microsoft Outlook. I do use
https://outlook.office.com/ in a browser if I'm not at work but one email
at a time is sufficient. If I am at work it's Thunderbird with a
connection to the in house server.

I regularly open 70 k lines of prior emails ( since the start of 2012 );
it's in a ( 5 meg ) .TXT file, Visual Studio (Win11) is good at searching it.

Sound Advice but I'm too lazy for that.
Notepad++ is my ( rarely used ) alternative editor.

Is Elon Musk going to head the "Department of Government Efficiency"
(DOGE) now, instead of going to jail ?

What will Trump do to/with Putin ?

Pennsylvania had Harris saying, "Drill, baby, drill".

Unlike me, Trump loves tariffs, he wants them to replace income taxes.

I agree with Trump's "localism", to wit:

Open Air meth markets are fine in Atlanta, if they want it;
just don't put them in Seattle, I say.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with eliminating income taxes in
favour of tariffs. If a person wants to work and simply save up money to
pay for college or something, they shouldn't automatically lose a chunk
of that income because the government wants it. It was meant to be a
_temporary_ measure to pay for the First World War; there is no reason
that people are still paying for it now.

Income taxes were originally supposed to be on corporations, not
individuals. And, as you say, they were supposed to be temporary.

In Washington state (I believe it was in Washington, maybe in Oregon, it
maybe it crossed the state lines) they actually took down toll booths for a
bridge that had been built some (I think) 70 years ago because it was "paid
for." That is the only time I remember seeing the government quit charging
for something that was supposed to be temporary.

Notepad++. Not Linux build, no go.

I looked at it years ago at work. A lot of stuff seemed copped from open
source. Not that I think that's bad; but it should be acknowledged.

Same with Dr. Memory vs Valgrind.

Windows Media Player? It was the biggest piece of shit ever. Internet
Explorer? A terrible browser with a crapload of security
vulnerabilities. The original Edge? An embarrassment of a browser at a
time when Chrome was so good that nobody could avoid using it. ActiveX?
The source of most security issues in the late 90s. XPS? A crappy
alternative to PDF, etc..

You're getting as bad as Farley Fuckwad. Remember Bob?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Bob

"Microsoft Bob was listed seventh in PC World magazine's list of the 25
worst tech products of all time[16] and as the number-one worst product of
the decade by CNET.com.[17] It was also listed among the 50 worst
inventions in Time magazine, which called Bob "overly cutesy" and an
"operating system designed around Clippy."[18] Microsoft's Steve Ballmer
mentioned Bob as an example in which "we decided that we have not
succeeded and let's stop [now]."[19]"

Clippy staggered on for a while. I did sort of like the dog.

When I built this computer, in 2021, Win10 20H2 was great, Win11
through 22H2 was also great. 23H2, a mere two and a half years after
I assembled the parts, started to suck. I got out while the gettin'

That home reno show Fixer Upper used SketchUp; the designs were almost
photo-realistic.

SketchUp isn't dead. They still have a free web version, and 3
subscription plans.

The best version (Studio) is Windows-only, of course. Windows is where

Blender added that Sketchup-style “Extrude Manifold” feature a long time
ago. And it can do line-art-style renders if you want. Add to that, all
the fun you can have with the ever-growing Geometry Nodes
functionality ...
