Damn damn damn. I finally got that "We like the moon!" song out of my
head (http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/), and now Quizno's is using
those...animals(?)...in their latest commercial, with an adaptation of
that song. I thought they had reached the limit of disurbingness with
the "raised by wolves" series, but apparently not.

Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh!

Perhaps if I watch weird Japanese animations about soy sauce over and
over (http://yoga.at.infoseek.co.jp/flash/kikkomaso_e.swf) it can drive
the Quizno's ad out of my head?

The official term is apparently "Spongmonkeys". Don't ask
me what a "spong" is, you'll have to ask the Ineffable
Crab of Wisdom... :-) He's the one on the left.

(It might be a corruption of SpoonGuard:

http://www.rathergood.com/spoonguard/)

though I for one rather doubt it.

Well, you could try "Mister Stabby":

http://www.rathergood.com/stabbypool/

Yeah, there's a character one could make lots of sitcoms about.
Maybe.

Or perhaps you'd prefer the Giant Bee song:

http://www.rathergood.com/giantbee/

(Not to be confused with a Monty Python song.)

Or, to be thorougly disgusted, try Jamie and something
which can't be mentioned on broadcast TV without a friendly
reminder from the FCC...

http://www.rathergood.com/jamie/

(And you thought Janet Jackson was bad.)

Or...well, just about anything on that webpage might be used to
drive out anything else from that webpage... :-)

It's all rather good, though... :-) Except maybe the bits
implemented in Director, which don't work on Linux (there's
a couple in there but I forget which two) and the removal
of Thomas the Wank Engine after a dispute with the creator
of the original (I never did see it).

Oh, and just so one can see the critters yet again
(why?), they're also on the Quiznos website.
Not horribly surprising.

As for the soy sauce, I don't use the stuff. :-)

But don't be a frightened boy:
