income taxes by +2% as well as their direct living costs from tariffs by
another +5%, without realizing that the fiscal reality will hit them.

So let's see specifics from these whiners as to just what has actually
changed in their 'way of life' instead of conveniently vague hand

There is no joy in Missoula today. They're trying to organize an event at
the U. I'm not sure if it's for grief counseling or if there will be Jim
Jones kool-Aid on tap. The city probably elected some state legislaters.
I'm not sure if Zooey Zephyr ran. Everything else was red. Trump, the
governor, both US reps, the US senator, Secretary of State, Attorney
General, Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Auditor, and so
forth. The closest was the three term Democratic Senator. He conceded when
the challenger broke 53% of the votes. Many of the races had the winner
getting 60%.

The punchline? C-128 passed with a 15% margin statewide, and 20% or more
in the Democratic strongholds. It had plenty of opponents but I have to
conclude even people with MAGA tattooed on their foreheads really don't
care. Nationally all the Republican worries about Trump's soft stance on
abortion certainly didn't affect the vote. The local lefties are still
pondering how that could possibly happen.

Well, there's half of California's vote (that probably never will get
counted now, since it doesn't matter). But the first half only gave Harris
1.5 million more than Trump — so, yeah, Joel, we DO know that Trump took
the popular vote and the Democrats know it as well (the proof being how much
more subdued they are now than they were the first time they last to Trump).

I got a kick out of hearing that Harris conceded but she said "it was just
the beginning of the battle." Like she thinks anyone in either party will

Apparently, Trump did three two-hour rallies daily amounting to 900 by
the end of the campaign. I can't imagine any human being, young or old,
managing to do what Trump did. They criticized him for boasting about

of these rallies without a script and while bullets were flying in his
direction; he's entitled to have some fun from time to time.

No matter what the flaccid faggots in this newsgroup and anywhere else
on the planet think of Trump, the reality is that he is _the man_.
Nobody could do what he did. Nobody could face the amount of criticism

A friend who is a trad Catholic also cares. Personally I voted against the
initiative but is still remains that it passed in one of the reddest of
red states with a 15 point margin.

Follow your conscience but if you're a politician it's not as much of a
vote getter as some believe. It similar to the Catholic Church's stance on
contraception versus what happens in Catholic bedrooms, and apparently
when the voting booth curtain closes.

Catholics are the largest denomination in Montana although that doesn't
mean much with the Protestants divided into 3612 storefront sects and a
few mainstream denominations.
