You claim a Master's in Electrical Engineering, but your best work
product is this (Linux Lair pic 6)?

"My DIY microphone and power supply... This DIY mic beats the fuck out
of any commercial equivalent"

wtf? What a mess! Putting aside the ridiculous filth, it literally
looks like some 5th grade science experiment made with trash found on
the ground near a Radio Shack dumpster in the 1970s.

It's from the mind of a lunatic.

You followed an existing schematic to build it, so what about it is
'innovative'? How does it beat commercial equipment?

What did it cost you in total?

And how do you even use it? Do you let it sit right there? Do you pick
up the whole clipboard and put it on your desk while you talk?

If you want to record some thoughts while you're in the bathroom, do you
carry the whole shebang in there with you and set it on your knees while
you shit? LMAO!

No wonder you can't keep a job. Your brain is fucked.

To be fair, it could have been cribbed from the early 1980s; need to
carbon-date that mechanical pencil in the front right corner. <g>

Looks like a Pentel 0.5 mm. I also like my Pentels, but in 0.7 mm.

The '60s are calling. The project kit reminded me of an analog computer
lab c. 1965. By then there should have been a flashing neon sign over the
door saying 'obsolete'. While looking for a vintage photo imagine my
surprise to find them crawling back from the dead.

They were a godsend in that one didn't have to sharpen them like one had
to do with the old style 1/8" mechanical pencils. I probably have a few
of both of them still around, lingering in a drawer someplace, along
with the rest of my drafting supplies. I had a box of french curves out
on a shelf in the garage, but I think I gave them away to a coworker's
niece who was going into arts, along with a couple hundred ink nibs.
