Early in the article and later notes the software developer is named
Allen, but never once says he or him. Instead says 'they' several times.
Believe you me, I blasted this creep.
And you've just gotten an answer as to why I went back to Windows. The
experience is extremely disheartening. I don't want to use Linux if it
gives these child predators the impression that I approve of them in any
way.
You don't have to go to Open Source sites to find this pronoun stupidity. I
wonder if DuFuS will be as "forthcoming" when he finds the same garbage on
pro Microsoft or Apple sites? Something tells me that the silence will be
deafening.
At least Microsoft's 365 "Woke checker" is still optional (it appears)...

Microsoft Word's Wokeness checker is asleep on the job
Microsoft has added a diversity checker to its Office 365 spelling and
grammar tool (h/t Tony Thorne (@tonythorne007). You can find it by going
to Word’s Preferences menu. Click the Spelling and Grammar option, then
Grammar & Refinements. If you check the appropriate boxes in the
drop-down menu, Word will scan your writing for age and cultural bias,
ethnic slurs, gender bias, gender-neutral pronouns, gender-specific
language, racial bias, sexual orientation bias, and socioeconomic bias.
The goal is to replace the sensitivity readers that some publishers use
to vet manuscripts for conscious or unconscious bias and anything else
that might offend an audience.
I unleashed Microsoft Woke, as its right-wing critics might call it, on
some passages about gendered and genderless pronouns to see whether it
could read for inclusivity better than a human can.

Follow the link (above) if you have any real interest in this crap — it
might help to also have a strong stomach.
